Dear Stakeholder, dear Project Partner,

Following the escalation of the COVID-19 cases in the country in the last two weeks coupled with the President’s Pronouncement on Sunday evening, aware.org is supporting the call for certain measures to be put in place by organisations in minimising the spread of the coronavirus. To this end, aware.org has put the following contingency plans in place for the next two weeks:

• To enable social distancing as quickly and efficiently as possible, the aware.org team will work from home.

• The team will not conduct any face-face meetings. However, to ensure the continuity of our work, we will host meetings
using the many technology platforms available i.e. Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp Video Call and of course we are always available via telephone.

If you are unable to get hold of us immediately, we promise to respond as soon as we can.

Aware.org would like to urge all our project partners to work collectively during this crisis time as we assist government to take control of this pandemic. Please urgently share any precautionary measures taken to ensure that all teams working on aware.org’s projects remain at low-risk.

To echo the words of our President during his official statement on COVID-19, “This epidemic will pass. But it is up to us to determine how long it will last and how damaging it will be.”
